Vandalism
The Monitoring found acts of vandalism against monuments glorifying collaborators from World War II only. For example, in 2020, a monument to the soldiers of the 14th SS division "Galicia" in Oakville was desecrated. An unknown person had inscribed on it the inscription "Nazi War Monument". No cases of vandalism against monuments or burial places of anti-Hitler coalition soldiers were recorded by the monitoring.
