Xenophobia in Sport
On September 9, 2019, during the qualifying match of Group D of the European Football Championship between the teams of Hungary and Slovakia in Budapest, riots broke out in the stands, incl. on racial grounds. The Slovakian team was fined €20,000 and played their next match behind closed doors.
