In early February 2015, Nazi graffiti was painted on a road sign in Ballymun, Dublin. The swastika and the word "Heil" - "Heil Hitler" - were reported to a local councillor. Dublin City Council has been asked to remove the graffiti and is expected to remove it immediately. Counselor Noeleen Reilly said she was contacted by a local resident during the night and came to see it in the morning. “I haven't come across this before in the area and I hope this isn't the start of something. "I'm really disappointed and when people see this they will be just as disgusted," she said.
